Sustainability and Responsible Tourism
Utsav Camp Sariska is deeply committed to sustainability, following a Zero-mile approach by sourcing fresh produce from its organic garden, nourished with natural manure and vermicompost. The camp minimises single-use plastics, provides filtered water in glass bottles, composts biodegradable waste, and encourages guests to reduce non-biodegradable waste. Hundreds of indigenous trees support water conservation and the local ecosystem, while a 34-KW solar installation offsets over 200 tonnes of carbon emissions annually.
Trained naturalists document local flora and fauna, preserving the region’s biodiversity and creating a space where responsible tourism and nature thrive. Founder Luv Shekawat has dedicated his life to environmental preservation through the Sampat Wildlife Foundation, established to honour his grandfather’s legacy, engaging in education, research, and hands-on conservation to safeguard India’s natural heritage.
